Position Summary:
The AOG Mechanic is responsible for rapid response to Aircraft-On-Ground (AOG) events and unscheduled maintenance situations nationwide. This position requires immediate deployment—by air or ground—to diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and return aircraft to service as quickly and safely as possible.
This role is ideal for a highly skilled, self-sufficient technician who thrives under pressure, works independently, and maintains strict adherence to FAA regulations and company safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
AOG Response & Field Maintenance
- Respond immediately to AOG situations across the United States.
- Travel on short notice via commercial airline, charter aircraft, or ground transportation.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting and corrective maintenance to return aircraft to service.
- Conduct inspections, component replacement, system diagnostics, and operational checks.
- Coordinate parts sourcing and logistics to minimize downtime.
- Ensure aircraft are returned to service in full compliance with regulatory and company standards.
Strong hands-on experience on the following aircraft platforms is required or highly preferred:
- Dassault Falcon series
- Cessna Citation series
- Hawker / Beechjet series
- Pilatus (PC-12 / PC-24 preferred)
Regulatory & Documentation Compliance
- Perform maintenance in accordance with FAA regulations, OEM maintenance manuals, MEL/CDL, and company procedures.
- Accurately document all maintenance actions in aircraft logbooks and maintenance tracking systems.
- Complete return-to-service documentation thoroughly and correctly.
- Stay current on Airworthiness Directives (ADs), Service Bulletins (SBs), and manufacturer updates.
- Communicate effectively with Maintenance Control, flight crew, Operations, and vendors.
- Provide real-time updates during AOG events.
- Coordinate with parts suppliers, FBOs, and local MRO facilities when required.
- Represent the company professionally with clients and third parties.
- Maintain readiness for rapid deployment, including maintaining tools and travel documentation.
- Keep AOG tooling kits organized and serviceable.
- Assist with scheduled maintenance or heavy inspections when not deployed on AOG events.
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate.
- 5+ years of turbine aircraft maintenance experience.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience with Falcon, Citation, Hawker, or Pilatus aircraft.
- Strong troubleshooting and systems diagnostics capability.
- Ability to travel extensively on short notice (including nights and weekends).
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel commercially.
Preferred
- Factory training on Falcon, Citation, Hawker, or Pilatus aircraft.
- Inspection Authorization (IA).
- Experience in corporate/private aviation.
- AOG field response experience.
