Project Manager
At FlyUSA, we're redefining the private aviation experience from start to finish. As leaders in the industry, we provide comprehensive solutions that meet the unique needs of our clientele. We're not just about flying; we're about delivering unparalleled service and creating memorable journeys.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a Project Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment and knows how to turn ideas into action. This role is essential to the successful execution of key initiatives across FlyUSA—including our mobile app, website, Owner Portal, and internal systems. While a major focus will be managing ongoing development work, this role also supports broader operational process improvements and projects across multiple lines of business. You’ll work closely with our Director of Technology, development team, and cross-functional leaders in finance, operations, HR, etc. to bring structure, clarity, and accountability to every project.
The ideal candidate is organized, flexible, and solution-oriented. You should enjoy solving problems, bringing structure to complex challenges, and pushing projects forward—even when details are still being figured out. We’re looking for someone who takes initiative and embraces opportunities to add value across the business.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the full lifecycle of technology and operational projects, from initial scoping through execution, testing, deployment, and post-launch support
- Define and maintain clear deployment stages—Sandbox to UAT to Production—and drive standardization across environments
- Take ownership of UAT (User Acceptance Testing) coordination, ensuring systems are tested thoroughly by themselves or front-line team members before going live
- Facilitate regular project status meetings, ensuring transparent communication around progress, risks, and timelines
- Act as a liaison between development and business teams—translating front-line needs into technical requirements and ensuring alignment
- Collaborate cross-functionally to gather requirements and translate them into actionable plans that span departments
- Deliver executive-level presentations that clearly communicate project updates and business impact
- Identify opportunities to reduce manual work and improve efficiency across the organization through automation or process redesign
- Jump into projects wherever support is needed, bringing structure and momentum to key initiatives across the company
Qualifications:
- Proven experience managing both technology-driven and operational projects in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to coordinate across departments and prioritize multiple projects
- Skilled at defining project phases, managing timelines, and holding teams accountable to deliverables
- Experience managing UAT processes and validating new functionality prior to deployment
- Ability to translate business needs from non-technical stakeholders into clear tasks for developers
- Familiarity with staging environments and standard deployment workflows (Sandbox > UAT > Production)
- Proficiency with project tools such as Monday.com, Basecamp, Smartsheet, or Jira
- A proactive, ownership-oriented mindset with the ability to work through ambiguity and drive clarity
- Experience working in a company running on EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) is a plus
- Background in aviation or a fast-growing operational business is a plus
